22 November, 2019: The evening of 19th November 2019 at the Director’s Lawns, IIM Bangalore, witnessed a joyful celebration of the fifth anniversary of IIMBx. IIMBx, the digital learning initiative of IIMB, now has over 1.4 million learners from across the world.
Founded at a time when digital learning was still a new concept in India, with a lot of skepticism surrounding its effectiveness and validity, IIMBx began creating courses with a five-member team. With support from the faculty of IIM Bangalore, IIMBx soon grew popular among young professionals and students as the most credible source of management education online. Now, with a team of 34 young and energetic minds, over 45 courses on offer and 12 courses in the pipeline, IIMBx stands stronger and more creative than ever.
IIMB Director Prof. G. Raghuram, Deans, faculty members and former and current team members of IIMBx celebrated five memorable years of this journey on the evening of November 19th.
The key attraction of the event was the IIMBx X-traordinary Achiever Awards identifying the best modules developed in the IIMBx courses so far.
Senior employees of IIMBx, Girsh Gurjar, S. Prabhu, Vijaya Tripathi, Vishnupriya, Pavan and Sathyabala were felicitated by Prof. G. Raghuram and Prof. P.D. Jose, Chair, IIMBx, for their dedicated commitment.
