Ravedesign, incubated at NSRCEL, is a design consulting firm with a special focus on retail and the shopping centre industry.
Says Co-founder Sangeeta Vernekar, “For retail brand store designs, we add value through creative thought processes based on thorough research on international trends, shopper behavior and operational management. In case of design of shopping centres, we have the required expertise of handling all aspects of design from master planning to architecture, interiors, signage design and placemaking, which is a unique mix of design services. We also offer fit out management so that the developer gets all solutions under one roof. Moreover, we design for residential, hospitality and commercial centres.”
Hailing the team at Ravedesign, Sangeeta says it is diverse, multi-cultural, driven by strong work ethics and a passion for learning and excellence.
Rajan Vernekar, the Founder, leads design development and management. He has an experience of over three decades spanning across various segments and expertise in the retail and shopping centre industry. He is an alumnus of IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay.
Co-founder Sangeeta Vernekar is a registered architect, with around 35 years of experience in Design, Business Development and Education & Training. She is responsible for strategy, planning, new projects and client management. She also leads HR, L&D and operational management.
Sangeeta says that the NSRCEL experience helped them acquire a different way of thinking and some new business skills. “It was a tremendous learning curve for us. The faculty and the curriculum, the experience and knowledge of the other participants, the likeminded women entrepreneurs – all these gave us a fresh perspective. We developed skills like strategic planning, streamlining accounting, setting goals and achieving the same. NSRCEL provides continued learning beyond the programme, through webinars, workshops and much more.”
