31 March, 2022, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore held the PGPEM Cup 2022 on March 27 (Sunday), 2022, at the institute’s Sports Complex, after a gap of two years. The event, organized annually by the students of the two-year weekend MBA programme of IIMB: Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), is a battle of sports and games between the PGPEM senior and junior batches.
This year’s event was organized by Kranthi Chennamsetty & Aniketh M Rao, the Sports Coordinators of the Senior & Junior batches respectively. The PGPEM Cup, reinitiated this year, had been put on hold because of the pandemic. However, with restrictions eased, both the PGPEM Office and students put in their best efforts to make the event a big success.
The PGPEM Cup 2022 saw some spirited battles and this time, it was the junior batch that emerged the winners. The spirit of sports and games that connected the two cohorts and the camaraderie between them was evident in all the sports.
