Talking about the role of regulators in helping the government draft policy, which not only promotes industrial growth, but also empowers consumers, he said he hoped for more work to be done for consumer rights and grievance redressal, particularly in the tech space.
Responding to questions from the students, he said it is important for a firm like Google to be sensitive to hostile content and to remove content that was intended cause damage to men and material. “At Google, content is monitored in such a way that it neither breaches the privacy rights of individuals nor does it interfere with their freedom of expression,” he added.
He also shared his views on how the global access of data is important for a better customer experience and process optimization.
