The world comes to IIMB – Exchange Programme 2018-19 begins IIMB hosts 73 global students this fall

The Student Exchange Programme (SEP) at IIM Bangalore is one of the key internationalisation initiatives of the school.

The programme has been in existence for more than 15 years. Students visiting IIMB on exchange opt for electives that are taught as part of the PGP, EPGP or PGPEM.

The programme aims at providing diversity in the classroom and international exposure to students, while maintaining the high academic standards of IIMB.

During September, when the fifth term at IIM Bangalore starts, nearly 40 per cent of the two-year PGP batch gets a chance to spend a term at a partner school and students from various partner schools spend a term at IIMB.

The exchange programme enables students to exercise social and professional leadership and establish professional networks.

This year, students from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark, HEC PARIS, International University of Japan, Graduate School of International Management, IPADE Business School, Mexico and many more B-schools, are currently at IIMB, furthering their academic pursuits.

During their three months here, the international students will experience the rigors of the IIMB eco-system and enjoy campus life.
